Irony & Ambiguity

At first, I thought irony was when you mean something but means something else, but I learned that this was wrong. Actually, irony is the difference between waht the reader execpt or what seems suitable and the reality of what happens. There are three types of irony:verbal, situational, dramatic. I also learned about ambiguity.I never knew what was ambuity, but I learned that ambiguity is a part of a text with mutiple meaning in which something can interpreted in a number of different ways.
